I wanted to drop in and give a quick update - as many of you know, Trader-X has been dealing with a family situation and unfortunately he has had a family member pass away. As a result, he won't be back until sometimes next week.
I will try to post a chart or two this week and put up some fresh posts for those of you who are communicating through comments.

Sorry to hear. Please pass on condolences to X if possible.
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you if you don't mind...
Sorry to go back so far on you, but you mentioned a "three bar pattern" in this post that I've seen/used a couple of times since you talked about it, but I haven't come across that specific pattern in my Nison book or anywhere else.
Is there (or do you have) a name for it?
Thanks Tom,

Please pass my condolences as well.

Trader-X:
ReplyDeleteI'm very sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Based on your past actions, it's clear that being there for your family is more important than trading.
So in many various ways, you've helped to show how to keep life in proper perspective. I sincerely thank you.
Sorry to hear about your loss.
ReplyDeletePlease pass my condolences to X as well.

Attitude Trader, I don't think that is an official pattern found any where. Just something I noticed that works consistently. I have a handful of these types that aren't "official" but work well. We can call it the Attitude pattern if you want!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's very generous of you! But I don't think that would be appropriate.
ReplyDeleteI think we should call it the "Tom C Three" pattern.
I like the sound of that. ;)
