Indeed a historic time regardless of who you voted for. It is time to move on and correct our mistakes. Here is to the next four years being better than the last.
There celebrations all over the place - Africa in particular.
I thought that the Bush nightmare had ruined me for flag-waving, but I find that I'm still a sucker for non-Americans waving American flags that are not on fire.
It is a great day for the world. Speaking as someone who lives across the ocean, I am smiling at the possibilities the future holds.
