Seriously - if someone would have just helped him out a little, they would have won tonight. But no one - let alone A-Rod - would step up. The problem is, none of them have the heart that Jeter does - Jeter comes through in clutch situations, and leaves it all on the field. The others (save Bernie who is just getting too old, and maybe Jorge) are basically paid mercenaries. And you put those guys up against a team of players that all have heart and are scrappers (LAA), and they will lose every time.
Jeter is the man. Sadly, we cannot clone him.
