1.) What did I see?
A gap down and weak, wide range first bar. The second-fifth bars bounce around the morning low; the fifth bar shows solid strength and has a strong "real body"* that offsets the weak "real body" of the previous bar (it almost engulfs the "real body" but is not by definition an
engulfing candle pattern as it does not take out the upper wick). The sixth bar is narrow range, and continues the strength of the fifth bar.
2.) What is the entry?
A break of the sixth bar high.
3.) What is the exit?
The target was the retracement zone from the previous day's high to the opening range low. It was hit two bars after the entry.
* "real body" is the difference between the open and close.
