To all bloggers who use Google AdSense - I received this bizarre message a short time ago:
"It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s). We have therefore disabled your Google AdSense account. Please understand that this step was taken in an effort to protect the interest of the AdWords advertisers.
A publisher's site may not have invalid clicks on any ad(s), including but not limited to clicks generated by:
- a publisher on his own web pages
- a publisher encouraging others to click on his ads
- automated clicking programs or any other deceptive software
- a publisher altering any portion of the ad code or changing the
layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reason
Practices such as these are in violation of the Google AdSense Terms and Conditions and program polices, which can be viewed at:
https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?hl=en_US
https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US
Publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed further participation in AdSense and do not receive any further payment. The earnings on your account will be properly returned to the affected advertisers.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team"
Needless to say, I have not done any of the above. And, I don't even know what "invalid clicks" are. I have written them back, and am awaiting a response.
What blows my mind is they disabled my account and said they are not going to issue payments due to me for the past few months. I will not mislead you - it is not a big sum of money - but as you know every dollar goes into Good Karma, so the fact that they say they will not pay me is frustrating.
Has anyone had this experience? I will let you know if I hear back from them, but be warned before you invest time with Google AdSense.

That is bizarre. No judge, jury, or trial? They just cut you off and don't pay what they owe you? Sounds like big brother trying to hold down the little man.
There are many other ad providers besides Google. Check with some of your fellow bloggers. And, take their ads off if they are not paying you! That is crap.
Thanks T.C.
It is a pain in the ass as I have their code in my template, and now I have to make the changes. And like you said no judge or jury. I am a big fan of Google in general, but this pisses me off.
I already got an email with a few Google "alternates", but I don't want to waste the time to make the changes anytime soon.
And, you make a good point - no one click on the Google ads!!!
I called Jack Bauer, and Google will be dealt with by the end of the day.
Just wanted to remind you 24 was on tonight so you would get in a good mood. Screw Google!
LOL. Thanks Barb.
Trader-X, I sent you an email about Google Adsense. Eli
Hi X,
You're not alone, they did the same thing to me a few weeks ago. I also wrote back and they followed up with a short little note and that was that. Like you, I only had small money in the account. That didn't bother me, its the way they go about it that is bothersome.
At the time Google had just settled in court with advertisers over click fraud. The thought did cross my mind that Google could cut out all the little adsense guys like me and keep the dollars owed in order to cover the funds needed to pay the settlement without hurting their bottom line too much. I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but the thought still lingers.
Good luck, I hope you get better feedback than I did from Google.
Maybe the point is here ?
I've seen many people being kicked out from adsense during last month. I think they have made new system of fraud monitoring
Thanks. I don't click my own ads, and I have never encouraged my readers to click the ads. In fact, I made fun of some of the "get rich quick" things that seemed to pop up a while back.
