We talked about this in comments yesterday. It never really "took off" (or, since it was a short, "collapsed"). Even thought it did not come close to the target, it was still a low-risk, narrow-range entry that returned 3%.
FYI - Trader-X is back from Chicago next week. He has asked me to continue posting as I see fit, and I am happy to do so. I will say that the past few weeks have given me a new respect for him - he does this for no money, and puts up with the technical problems of keeping up the blog (there were several last week), as well as the rudeness of people in general. You would not believe the rude emails and comments people send - it blows my mind. If you don't like the blog, why read it? Why go out of your way to send rude messages? People are bizarre. But, the flip side of that coin is that there are a lot of great people too - so it has been a lot of fun interacting with you (the great people, that is).
Anyway, X had time to do some research and has some exciting things he will be incorporating in the coming months. So, I for one look forward to it.
Have a good weekend everyone!

Thanks for filling in Tom.
There is no way to sugarcoat it - there are alot of jackasses in the world. I am sure you have hundreds of readers who appreciate and love the blog for every one a-hole.
Keep up the great work.

I am appalled that people would actually take their time to write nasty emails to you and X. You guys take your time to post charts and answer questions that any visitor may have.
I hope you will not let these immature detractors spoil your day as there are thousands of readers who are very grateful for what you do.
Keep up the good work guys!

I'll add my two cents - you guys are doing a great job. I always enjoy reviewing your trades and have learned quite a bit about day trading from this blog.
Trader X and Tom,
This blog is responsible for me becoming a better/profitable daytrader. I am not sure how the "little guy" would make it without help by pros sharing their knowledge. Thanks soooooooo much!!
