It's Friday!

posted by Trader-X:

And, since the markets will be closed on Monday, we have a long weekend!

Look for charts over the weekend. And, feel free to post your trades and thoughts in "Comments".

10:33 edit - "quick hit" in PBCT on the 15-minute chart (we have been posting a lot of 30-minute charts lately, so I know many of you have been going through withdrawl).

Note - Yahoo! constantly moves its content, so if you link to it chances are that before too long you will get a dead link like this one. I have quit linking to their content because of it.

Correlation between gas prices and obescity?? X, don't know if my software can do it but how do you do the 1.38 fib extension on yours? I've been doing it with the calculator which is time consuming. Looks like EBAY is going to yesterdays ext of 34.38 premkt. Thanks.

Damn, look at that sharp reversal. You are right, it pays to sell at the Fib extension.

Played CBST 15 min, off 5th bar, exited below 10th bar weak red candle.
LVS 30 min off 3rd bar, exited on break below 5th candle. I was kinda skittish ahead of long weekend. CBST was just too tempting, had to try a 15 min chart.....ya, withdrawls. Any comments welcome!! Have a wonderful, safe long weekend all!!

Caught a nice short with UEPS today. Went short on the break of the low of the 4th candle on the 30 min chart and exited at the 38.2 fib extension ~ 25.76 for a very nice return with little risk (used a little above the high of the 4th bar as my stop).

Also took a short in MGM, but that didn't go anywhere...still managed to eek out enough profit though to hit Taco Bell....lol
