Finish the week strong

Go make some good trades, and feel free to post in "Comments".

By the way, what happened to the Mavs? What a way to waste a two game lead...

But England is 2-0 in the World Cup, although I had my doubts watching the game yesterday.

edit - I just saw a commercial for an "Options Success" workshop being held in my area. The commercial featured people (usually "mom and pop" looking families) who make a lot of money - some $3,000 a week, some more than that, one guy made $57,000!!! Seriously, who falls for this shit?

Yes, they are in my area too. They prey on the uneducated and financially ignorant...the very last people that should do anything with options. It boggles the mind.

Go Miami!!!

Hi All,

It's probably thatI'm still recovering from the England match last night, but I don't seem to have found any decent "X" set-ups today. Some good names in the news tho: ADBE, ORCL, OVTI, BSX. Made a bit out of OVTI & ADBE, and did OK with FMCN early on (that p/mkt thing again!!) but that's it.

Think I'll call it a day and go watch Argentina play the game properly.

Look forward to some good comments, and hope you all traded well!!

Slim pickins, though I managed a short in NBIX when the 3rd 15-minute bar closed below the or low. Not a traditional "X" set-up, but one I came up with because of him and others here.

Thanks!

Karl, that is interesting. I see a similar set-up on the long side in CCL. I will have to research this over the weekend. Thanks for sharing.

adrian, doing nothing??? I already have a 6%+ gain in nbix. I will take that kind of nothing every day!!!

WHR was a nice short. triple or quadruple witching - knew it would be slow so i went to the gymn & watched a succer match. FMCN was on fire early.

Hi Adrian,

Interesting comments about these seminars, but I can't let you get away with your throw-away remark about selling covered calls!! I do this all the time as part of the management of my retirement fund, and whilst it is not a strategy in itself, it is an important part of my overall longer-term strategy. It works for me anyhow. (BTW - I'm not selling a seminar - honest!)

Otherwise I agree with all you say.
