X - can you tell me why these trades did not work:
TRMP at bar 8 breaks OR high with a hammer-like bar - I know it is not a perfect hammer and I have seen other set-ups with small upper tails work. Is it Bar 4's upper tail that makes this a bad set-up? I did not trade this but I came very close to pulling the trigger on bar 8 but waitied for bar 9 and it went downhill - I am not sure what I am missing when I was thinking at bar 8 , when price crossed OR high, that this was a good set-up - thanks for any comments.

Thanks for the sweet blog. I've been watching you for a while and finally gave up my losing trading strategy to try yours. I spent this week setting up my system and i think i got it going and here's what i found today (i didn't actually trade these today but i caught em on my scans and gotta work on getting into them quicker..)

I have a question for you. You seem to show 1 or 2 charts a day. How many trades do you typically make in a day on this gap up, breakout seq? 3-10? I'm just trying to get an idea of how many you trade to get that 1 or 2 sweet trade.
