My wife and I saw it and really enjoyed it. We are not big Star Trek fans, so it was a pleasant surprise.
I went with my wife also. I'm a fan, but not rabid. We both thought the movie was very well done and extremely entertaining. JJ Abrams sure like the "lens flare" effect.

great special effects - story is weak w/ silly here's the keys to the most expensive ship to a kid in the air force academy.
Good humor if you know the old characters well. We enjoyed it.

I want with my son who is not a Star Trek fan at all and he enjoed it, I thought that it was well done because if you are not a Trekkie it was a fun movie, if you are a Star treck fan, it brings back alot of memories of the old episodes, i.e. Kirk the womanizer who jumps first and thinks last...etc. The old crew is there, just younger!! It wss fun!
Good flick. Setting up for a whole new family of Star Trek films. Lived up to the "Big Summer Film" hype.
Caught it last night. Story was a little convoluted, but overall it was a good flick.
I thought it was entertaining.
