Since I turned "Comments" on earlier this year, it has been a great forum for information and the exchange of ideas. But, there are a few rules I need to lay out:
1.) Put a name on your comment - not anonymous! It is just a pet peeve I have. You don't have to use your real name - make something up. But it is easier for anyone who wants to reply to have a name to reference.
2.) I don't endorse the trades posted in "Comments" - a lot of the time I don't know what the hell some of you are doing!!! But, a lot of the time I get some good tips and see trades I missed. The bottom-line is I encourage everyone to post their trades as long as they have something remotely to do with what we discuss on the blog. You do not have to trade the exact way I do - in fact I usually discourage that! But it should be based on TA and you should post an explanation if the reasons are not obvious.
3.) Feel free to disagree, question, and debate. But BE RESPECTFUL. Over the past week I have deleted comments that contained attacks (sometimes profanity filled) on others. There is no need for that - if that is how you wish to communicate and represent yourself, there are plenty of other places to do it (Elite Trader, for example).
4.) "Comments" are moderated - so depending on when you post them and when someone looks at them, it may take some time for them to appear. You DO NOT have to repeatedly post them...it does not make them appear any faster.
5.) Don't post SPAM - it will not make it. Note - this does not apply to 99% of you. And it does not mean you can't post links to related content or cool stuff. We all know what SPAM is...
6.) If questions are addressed to me, I try to answer them. But I don't always read all comments. Having said that, anyone can answer any question - many people step up on a regular basis to do so and I encourage that.
Also, this is a good time to remind everyone to read "WELCOME AND LINKS TO KEY POSTS", which appears at the top of every page. 99% of the questions you have are answered there.

Nice jab at ET, and 100% accurate!
Not to dwell on ET, but I agree it has become a very strange place. Any good threads usually get hijacked, and there is so much flaming and hatred it is hard to get anything of value from it. I still look at it once a week or so, but even that is becoming a waste.
It is a shame what people do to screw up something good.
"a lot of the time I don't know what the hell some of you are doing"
LOL
Regarding Elite Trader, I think it is a social experiment gone bad. But I also think there are probably 20 people responsible for 90% of the posts. Those 20 people probably have 100+ aliases between them.
It is a waste of time. Focus on the good blogs out there, and you will get much better information.
Mind numbing.
My blog?
NO! Elite Trader.
